Getting the most out of your visit

How can I get around inside the park?

The ‘Seaside Train’ operates on a circular route and stops at 10 locations inside the park. Bikes are also available for rental. The Seaside Train and rental bikes are not included in admission prices.

Can I bring my own bike in?

Yes, bikes are free to bring into the park. Cycling is only allowed on the dedicated cycling paths so please push your bike from your point of entrance to the nearest cycling path.

Can I borrow baby strollers or wheelchairs?

Strollers and wheelchairs are available to rent for free from each park entrance.

  • Reservations are not accepted.
  • Baby strollers are for use by toddlers up to age two.

Are there any spaces for nursing young children?

Nursing rooms are available at the Park Administrative Office located in the West Gate Area, Terrace House, Heisei no Mori restrooms, Pleasure Garden Amusement Park ticket counter and the Dune Area Kaihin Gate/Kaze no Gate.

Are there any first-aid offices?

First-aid offices are located at the Park Administrative Office in West Entrance Area and at the Central Gate in the Pleasure Garden.

Is wi-fi available in the park?

Wi-Fi is available at the Lake Side Café (West Gate Area) and at Kinen no Mori Rest House.

For Group Visitors

Are group discounts available?

Groups of 20 or more people are eligible for group admission prices. Group discounts for rides in the Pleasure Garden Amusement Park are also available for groups of 20 or more people.

Are there any restaurant facilities for large groups?

Group meals are available in the Garden Restaurant (reservation required). Please contact Hitachi Sunrise Park (Tel: 029-265-8185) for more information.

Is there any transport for large groups within the park?

Seaside Trains for groups are available with advance reservation. Please contact Hitachi Sunrise Park (Tel: 029-265-8185) for more information.

Are there any rest areas for bus drivers or tour attendants?

Rest areas are available at the South Car Park and Kaihin Gate (Seabreeze Entrance)/Kaze no Gate.
